2-button, Uncoded, Binary, 3-channel, Red LED, 302 MHz, Non-Code-Hopping replacement remote.
Used with older versions of the DEI Valet 711T &the 712T Keyless Entry Systems and with some of the older versions of the DEI Steal Stopper, Viper &Wasp alarm systems.
Generally these DEI systems were manufactured before 1996 (Date Codes up to 5K, which is November, 1995.)
Newer DEI systems were manufactured with the newer DEI 493T "Trinary" remote transmitter technology. The newer DEI 493T replacement remote is not interchangeable with the older DEI 465T remotes. You must use the correct remote that matches your DEI system.
The DEI 465T remote has 10 traces in the circuit board that must be "cut" to exactly match the traces that are cut on the circuit board of your specific DEI system.
Your DEI system has an unique "transmitter code" that determines exactly which of the 10 traces needs to be cut to match your system.
